Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Video Editor at The Popcorn Media. The Senior Video Editor will be responsible for video production, video editing, color grading, motion graphics, and graphics creation. The role will involve creating engaging and impactful content across various social media platforms. Qualifications Video Production and Video Editing skills Video Color Grading, Motion Graphics, and Graphics skills Experience in creating engaging and impactful video content Proficiency in video editing software and tools Attention to detail and creativity in video editing Ability to work effectively in a team environment Knowledge of current trends in video production and editing Strong communication and time management skills Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci/blender is a must. Knowledge of additional software like Adobe After Effects and Photoshop will be considered an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: 1. Editing & Packaging: Edit and package news format shows, documentaries, promos, TVCs, and podcasts to ensure high-quality output. o Maintain consistency and adherence to brand guidelines in all video projects. 2. Software Proficiency: o Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro and Davinchi for video editing tasks. o Enhance video content using Adobe After Effects and Photoshop to add visual effects, graphics, and other multimedia elements. 3. Project Management: o Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high standards. o Collaborate effectively with producers, directors, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver on time. 4. Creative Input: o Provide creative ideas and innovative solutions to improve video content and engagement. o Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and styles in video editing. 5. Quality Control: o Conduct thorough quality checks on all edited videos to ensure there are no errors or technical issues. o Make necessary revisions based on feedback from stakeholders.
