Senior Video Editor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing and assembling recorded footage into a finished project that aligns with the vision and objectives of our clients' advertising campaigns. The Video Editor will work closely with our creative directors, producers, and clients to ensure the final product meets the highest standards of quality and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Edit raw footage to produce high-quality videos that align with the creative direction and messaging of advertising campaigns.

2. Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and clients to understand project requirements and deliverables.

3. Select and integrate music, sound effects, and visual effects to enhance the overall impact of the videos.

4. Ensure seamless transitions, proper pacing, and cohesive storytelling in all video projects.

5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing techniques, software, and technology.

6. Manage and organize video files, assets, and project timelines to ensure efficient workflow and project delivery.

7. Provide input and creative solutions during brainstorming sessions and client meetings.

8. Maintain brand consistency and adhere to client guidelines and specifications throughout the editing process.

9. Collaborate with the post-production team to optimize video files for various platforms and formats.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a video editor in an advertising agency or similar environment.

2. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.

3. Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.

4. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

5. Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
