Senior Video Editor

We’re hiring an in-house/retainer editor who can deliver clean, simple, high-retention YouTube edits with smooth communication and fast turnaround.

What you’ll edit

• Long-form YouTube videos (8–25 mins): clean pacing, jump cuts, b-roll, simple on-screen text, sound polish

What “good” looks like here

• Edits feel invisible (no unnecessary transitions or effects)

• Strong hook pacing + no dead air

• Audio is clean and leveled (this matters more than fancy edits)

• Simple motion graphics/text when needed (not overdone)

Responsibilities

• Edit 6-10 long-form videos/month

• Edit some shorts/month if required (emergency basis only)

• Basic audio cleanup + leveling

• Add minimal b-roll, zooms, and titles to support clarity + retention

• Deliver exports + organized project files

Must-have skills

• Proven long-form YouTube editing portfolio (not only reels)

• Strong pacing/storytelling instincts (retention mindset)

• Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro X workflow

• Clear communication + ability to work with frameio feedback and timestamps

• Reliable turnaround times
