About the Role

Senior Temenos Transact (T24) GL and Finance Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customize the

  Finance & GL modules

  in Temenos Transact to meet regulatory and business requirements.
• Maintain and enhance the

  Chart of Accounts

  ,

  GL mappings

  , and

  accounting rules

  in line with

  IFRS

  and local standards.
• Act as the bridge between

  Finance and IT

  , ensuring system configurations align with accounting principles and reporting standards.
• Lead or support

  financial integrations

  between T24 and satellite systems that maintain balances or raise accounting entries.
• Participate in

  SIT, UAT

  , and

  Audit Reviews

  from a financial standpoint.
• Troubleshoot and resolve

  GL mismatches

  ,

  reconciliation issues

  , and

  posting errors

  .
• Support

  Profitability Analysis

  ,

  Income Leakage Reviews

  , and

  year-end financial closures

  .
• Provide training and

  knowledge transfer

  to client’s finance and ICT teams.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience

  in

  Temenos Transact (T24)

  implementations, with deep functional exposure to

  GL and Finance modules

  .
• Proficiency in

  TAFJ, JBASE Infobasic, Java

  , and strong knowledge of

  AA, FT, DC, SL, Account, SMS

  , and

  Security

  modules.
• Solid grasp of

  IFRS

  ,

  banking regulations

  , and

  financial reporting standards

  .
• Strong experience with

  financial reconciliations, report mappings

  , and

  external audit support

  .
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with

  SOAP/REST APIs

  ,

  integration frameworks

  , and

  database querying (SQL)

  is a plus.
• Knowledge of

  IRIS Interaction Framework

  is an added advantage.
