Job Description

As a Sales Engineer at ZChem Specialties, you will be responsible for achieving sales and collection targets in your assigned territory. You will need to have a technical background and a strong desire for personal and professional growth. Your role will involve understanding customers" needs and providing solutions related to NDT products, enhancing their performance and process efficacy. Additionally, you will be expected to conduct product demonstrations for customers across various industry verticals such as Automotive, Aviation, General Engineering, Forging, Casting & Foundries, and Heavy Fabrication. This will require you to manage a team of Dealer/Distributor Sales Representatives to ensure optimal product performance and customer satisfaction. Strategizing and planning for sales, forecasting, pricing, distribution, and Key Account Management will be crucial aspects of your role. You will also need to carry out market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for increasing sales. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing RFQs, sales proposals, and maintaining confidentiality of customer information. Your responsibilities will also include interacting with customers, principals, and dealers for pre- and post-project activities, providing technical support, and developing proof of performance, case studies, trial reports, and other collaterals. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers while exploring new opportunities for value addition through Application Engineering will be essential. To be eligible for this role, you should have a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering. An MBA in Marketing would be an added advantage. You should be below 35 years of age and have working experience in CRM and MS Office. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are a must, along with the ability to network, build relationships, and establish rapport with customers. Being dynamic, assertive, results-oriented, and proactive will be key traits for success in this role. Moreover, you should have excellent interpersonal skills, command over the regional language of the territory, and the ability to plan, execute, and motivate people effectively. Extensive travel will be required as part of this role.,
