Role Overview: At Hevo Data, we are on a mission to revolutionize data infrastructure for AI, with over 2,000 companies in 40+ countries relying on us for their analytics needs. As a deep tech company, our engineering team tackles complex challenges in data integration, scale, and reliability. We are currently seeking a Principal Recruiter who can go beyond traditional keyword matching and truly understand the technology landscape to identify top talent for our technical roles. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with engineering leaders to define the ideal candidate profile for technical roles such as SDE-4, Staff Engineer, and Principal Engineer. - Evaluate candidate suitability by analyzing their past projects, technical contributions, and problem-solving capabilities. - Conduct structured technical assessments to screen candidates before formal interviews. - Establish and maintain talent pipelines for skilled engineers specializing in Backend, Frontend, DevOps, and Data Infrastructure. - Employ a systematic approach to engage with passive talent pools and expand the candidate network. - Provide a positive candidate experience and represent Hevo as a brand ambassador within the tech community. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical recruiting, focusing on senior engineering positions. - Ability to grasp engineering intricacies to assess candidates effectively without coding expertise. - Proven track record of successfully closing Staff/Principal-level hires within product or deep-tech companies. - Capability to evaluate candidates beyond resumes, considering their technical impact and alignment with the role. - Strong storytelling skills to communicate Hevo's vision to top engineers effectively. - Enthusiasm for technology and a willingness to explore areas like systems design, distributed infrastructure, and cutting-edge data challenges.
