Senior Technical Project Manager
We re looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our Engineering team in Bangalore, reporting to the Director of Engineering Enablement & Release Management. In this key role, you ll drive the planning, execution, and delivery of innovative technical projects that fuel Infoblox s growth.
You ll lead Agile teams and partner closely with scrum masters, product owners, product managers, engineering leaders, architects, and IT to deliver world-class products. Beyond execution, you ll have the opportunity to mentor others and champion Agile best practices, with a strong focus on execution discipline and delivering customer value.
Be a Contributor What You ll Do
- Direct cross-functional teams of Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to define delivery scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals
- Develop and maintain detailed delivery plans, including task assignments, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient execution
- Facilitate Agile practices and ceremonies, such as scrum of scrums, product owner syncs, and ART syncs
- Monitor delivery progress, identify risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment by encouraging team members to share ideas, experiment with new approaches, and learn from failures
- Coordinate with stakeholders to provide regular status updates, ensuring transparency and clear communication throughout the Project or Program Increments (PIs)
- Ensure that products are delivered on time and within scope and budget while maintaining high-quality standards
- Lead post-project reviews, like Inspect and Adapt, to capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Deliver high-impact technical projects contributing to the organizations strategic goals and overall growth
- Manage projects involving multiple ARTs and contribute to successfully launching new products, features, or enhancements, directly influencing our competitive edge and market position
Be Prepared What You Bring
- Minimum 8 years of program management experience, with a bachelor s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar degree or six years of program management experience with an MBA
- Expertise in Agile principles, and methodologies and a familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Proficiency in project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance
- Solid technical background to effectively communicate with technical team members and understand project complexities
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Target process, and version control systems like Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and address technical challenges
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and industry best practices
- Ability to communicate project objectives, progress, risks, and issues clearly and concisely tailored to the audiences level of understanding
- Ability to understand stakeholder needs, concerns, and feedback and incorporate insights into project planning and execution
Be Successful Your Path
First 90 Days:
Six Months:
- Successfully lead delivery for at least one major project or Agile Release Train (ART), demonstrating ownership and execution discipline
- Build strong, trust-based relationships across Engineering, Product Management, and IT, becoming a go-to partner for delivery excellence
- Take full ownership of the Change Management Review (CMR) process for your teams, ensuring smooth and compliant releases
- Begin identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities at the project level, enhancing team velocity and predictability
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies and retrospectives with insights that improve team collaboration and delivery outcomes
One Year:
- Drive measurable improvements in engineering maturity across your teams through regular assessments, coaching, and process enhancements
- Expand your influence by mentoring newer TPMs or scrum masters, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of accountability and learning
- Lead delivery for multiple ARTs or complex cross-functional initiatives, contributing directly to Infobloxs strategic goals and product roadmap
- Partner with Engineering Enablement to pilot new tools, metrics, or practices that improve delivery efficiency and transparency
- Be recognized as a thought leader in Agile delivery within the organization, contributing to internal forums, workshops, or enablement sessions
