Job Title: Senior Technical Designer Location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/wxDXNBHbEmb9wXRz9 Website: https://elvenwood.in/ Languages: English, Hindi Education: Degree/Diploma in Interior Design Experience: 1-5 Years Role overview -  We are looking for a Residential Interior Designer who can translate design intent into production-ready drawings and accurate cultists. The role requires strong coordination with the factory/production team to ensure smooth execution of modular kitchens, wardrobes, and custom residential interiors. Key Responsibilities 🏠 Residential Design Design interior solutions for apartments, villas, and independent homes. Prepare layouts, elevations, sections, and 3D views for client approvals. Finalize finishes, materials, hardware, and accessories for residential spaces. 🛠 Cutlist & Production Documentation Prepare detailed cultists for kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, storage units, and custom furniture. Generate material take-offs (plywood, MDF, laminates, boards, edge bands, hardware). Ensure accuracy of dimensions, thicknesses, edge banding, grain direction, and hardware placement. Coordinate with production teams to resolve fabrication-related issues. 📐 Technical Drawings Develop shop drawings and working drawings aligned with factory standards. Ensure drawings are CNC / workshop ready. Update drawings and cultists based on site conditions and revisions. 🤝 Coordination & Site Support Coordinate with sales, project managers, site engineers, and installers. Attend site visits for measurements, design validation, and installation support. Address on-site execution challenges and provide design clarifications. ⏱ Quality & Cost Control Optimize material usage to minimize wastage. Assist in costing and BOQ preparation. Maintain quality standards throughout design-to-installation stages. Required Skills & Qualifications Education Diploma / bachelor’s degree in interior design or architecture. Technical Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory). Working knowledge of SketchUp / 3ds Max / Revit (preferred). Strong experience in cultist preparation for residential cabinetry. Knowledge of modular kitchen and wardrobe standards. Understanding of hardware systems (hinges, channels, lift-up systems, fittings). Industry Knowledge Familiarity with plywood, MDF, HDHMR, laminates, veneers, edge banding. Awareness of manufacturing tolerances and installation clearances. Soft Skills High attention to detail. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work under tight timelines.
