Senior Technical Designer

As a Technical Designer at Tripod Global, a Multi National Retail Store Fixture Manufacturers, you will play a crucial role in executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production. Your primary responsibility will be to give Joinery (carpentry) fitting designs, draw new designs, and update current designs to ensure they meet all necessary design requirements. In this hybrid role working between Bangalore, INDIA and the Middle East, based on your performance, you may have the opportunity to be absorbed by the company HQ in Dubai, UAE. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare shop drawings of retail projects based on the BOQ, tender drawings, and specifications. - Create detailed technical illustrations and translate plans into clear instructions for manufacturers and installers. - Produce precisely dimensioned drawings specifying types of wood, hardware, and other materials. - Design specific joinery techniques to ensure structural integrity and aesthetics of the finished product. - Provide step-by-step instructions for the production team to minimize errors during assembly and ensure efficient on-site set-up. - Ensure all design projects are completed within budget and time constraints. - Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. **Position Requirements:** - 5-8 years of experience in Retail Fit out and Joinery (Carpentry) Industry. - Diploma in Civil Engg., Interior Design, or Architecture. - Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solid Works. - Knowledge of space planning in commercial interior environments, fit-out detailing, and specifications. **Key Benefits:** - Competitive salary package. - Opportunities for professional growth and development. - Opportunity to travel and settle abroad. - Collaborative and innovative work environment. - Leave benefits, Social Security, and Health insurance coverage.
