Technical Designer

As a Retail Store Fixtures Designer at Tripod Global, you will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production. Your key responsibilities will include: - Preparing shop drawings of retail projects based on the BOQ, tender drawings, and specifications. - Creating detailed technical illustrations that translate architectural plans into clear instructions for manufacturers and installers. - Producing precisely dimensioned drawings, specifying types of wood, hardware, and other materials. - Incorporating specific joinery techniques for structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. - Providing step-by-step instructions for the production team, minimizing errors during assembly and ensuring efficient on-site setup. - Ensuring that all design projects are completed within budget and time. - Managing multiple complex projects simultaneously. To qualify for this position, you should have: - 3-7 years of experience in Retail Fit Out and joinery. - Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or Architecture. - Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solid Works. - Knowledge of space planning in commercial interior environments, fit-out detailing, and specifications.
