Senior Tax Analyst (Tax Reporting & Data Analysis)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Tax Manager to join our dynamic team at BHI Center of Excellence in Bangalore. This role focuses on managing global tax data reporting requirements and ensuring accurate submission of data to tax authorities worldwide, as well as responding to different tax data requests.

B. responsible: key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:

• Track and stay updated on global data reporting requirements for tax purposes
• Translate legislative tax data reporting requirements into technical specifications for implementation by tech teams
• Oversee the implementation process of tax data reporting in systems and tools
• Lead the operational aspects of data submission to tax authorities
• Respond to ad hoc tax data reporting requests from various stakeholders (internal and external)
• Ensure submitted (tax) data is accurate and compliant with all relevant requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve tax data reporting processes
• Stay informed about changes in tax regulations and their impact on data reporting
• Respond to different tax data requests from internal and external stakeholders

B. skilled:

• Experience with SAP S4/HANA and SAC
• Knowledge and experience with at least one data analysis language (e.g: SQL, Python, R, etc)
• Strong knowledge and experience on data analysis (e.g. intermediate-advanced level of Excel, Alteryx Certified, Tableau Prep, Knime, etc)
• Knowledge and experience using visualisation and BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Google Looker, MicroStrategy, PowerBI, etc)
• Knowledge of data reporting regulations
• Familiarity with digital platforms business processes

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 5-9 years of experience in tax reporting, data analysis, or related roles
• Strong understanding of global tax data reporting regulations and reporting requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in data management tools and tax reporting software
• Ability to translate complex tax requirements into clear technical specifications
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multinational environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
