Senior Systems Engineer India | Verana Networks Join an exciting VC-funded start-up in that is developing an innovative 5G radio network solution. We are looking for experienced systems engineers with strong expertise in developing feature and high-level design specifications for LTE/5G NR radio access networks. Job Responsibilities Develop technical feature requirements specifications Develop high-level Layer 2 and Layer 3 designs for 5G NR Work closely with product management, software development and quality assurance teams to insure successful delivery of critical system features to customers Work closely with technical experts and counterparts at operator customers and partners Job Qualifications Significant experience working on LTE and 5G NR radio access networks as a systems engineer is required Candidates must have a deep knowledge of 3GPP RAN standards, especially in Layer 2 and Layer 3 LTE/5G NR protocols. Experience in 5G NR physical Layer, RAN security or RAN element management is a significant plus Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills MSEE required, Ph.D. is a significant plus.
