Job Description

As an Engineer in Network Engineering Data Services, your role involves providing implementation support for all SES Network related services sold to customers. You will interact with SES teams daily to activate and support SES services for our customer base. Your responsibilities include supporting network service activation for the Maritime Cruise and Aero industry, and providing Level 3 support for the Network Operations Centre. It is crucial for you to manage relationships with peers and third parties to ensure a successful network and Satellite environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating, disseminating, and updating documentation of identified network processes, procedures, and controls. Working directly with customers and internal departments is essential to facilitate network engineering implementation and maintain acceptable service levels. Managing tools required for efficient networking operations, especially Monitoring and management tools, will also be part of your duties. You will need to follow up on deficiencies identified in various assessments and audits to ensure appropriate remediation measures are taken. Providing Pre-Sales support as needed is also expected from you. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent field - 5+ years of experience in MPLS, L2VPN, L3VPN, IP Transit, Carrier Ethernet, CG-NAT - Deployment experience of Quality of Service within a network for at least 5 years - CCNP, CCDP, or JNCIP certification is a must - CCIE, JNCIE certification is a plus - Extensive TCP/IP and routing knowledge (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, BFD) - Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper routing and switching product lines - Professional level expertise in various IGP protocols and Switching Protocols - Professional level knowledge in BGP protocol - Expertise in Service provider and Enterprise networks, as well as Versa SD-WAN solutions - Experience with network security, network management, and proficiency in Linux and Windows servers - Experience in Satellite Communication systems is preferred Other Key Requirements / Comments: - On-call duties will be required 24/7 on a rotational basis Kindly note that the information regarding any additional details of the company was not provided in the job description.,
