Senior Staff CPU Physical Design Engineer

As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems. Your responsibilities will involve working on circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems to launch cutting-edge, world-class products. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential in developing solutions and meeting performance requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems - Work on circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience - OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience - OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience In addition to the above, Qualcomm Noida CPU team is seeking individuals with 12+ years of experience in Physical design and STA. Experience with industry-standard tools for physical implementation such as Genus, Innovus, FC, PT, Tempus, Voltas, and redhawk is essential. Applicants should have a solid understanding from floorplan to PRO and timing signoff, along with expertise in preparing complex ECOs for timing convergence. Knowledge of high-performance and low-power implementation methods and experience in deep submicron process technology nodes are preferred. Expertise in Perl and TCL language is also desired.
