Senior SQA Engineer

As a Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through manual and automation testing. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to identify defects, enhance testing processes, and uphold software quality standards. - Develop, document, and execute manual and automated test cases for software functionality and performance. - Design and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications. - Implement and manage automation frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing. - Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools and coordinate with the development team for resolution. - Conduct various types of testing including functional, integration, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies and enhance software quality processes. - Perform root cause analysis for defects and propose corrective actions. - Ensure adherence to industry standards, best practices, and quality assurance methodologies. - Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to the overall advancement of the QA team. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance encompassing manual and automated testing. - Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans. - Familiarity with automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or Cypress. - Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation. - Hands-on experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM, etc. - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps. - Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured. - Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is advantageous. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent communication abilities and proficiency in working within a collaborative environment.,
