This position is part of an exciting new team within Wiley s Research Publishing division the organization responsible for managing the ca. 2000 peer reviewe'd titles within Wiley s portfolio of proprietary and partner-owned journals. The Global Markets Partnerships team is tasked with driving the geodiversity of the portfolio, both in terms of content and revenue, through targeted business development activities within specific high-growth, high-opportunity markets.
This position contributes to the team s objectives by providing coordination, planning, and analytical support for business development activities, including but not limited to event planning, bid preparation, presentation preparation, report writing, project management. The Global Markets Partnerships team is intended to be a catalyst, accelerating the expansion of Wiley s Research business in strategically important markets, and this position plays a critical enabling role in that endeavor.

The key tasks driving success of this position and its contributions to the Global Markets Partnerships team are rooted in organization and enthusiasm. Impact in this role will be achieved through:
- Enabling team communication by coordinating team meetings and internal reporting
- Facilitating the creation of deliverables, such as bids, reports, business cases, and presentations
- Coordinating external events, such as workshops, webinars, roundtables, to drive stakeholder/partnership engagement
- Collate holistic market reports, bringing together market research and insights into a comprehensive overview
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, providing project management support
- Support internal stakeholder messaging, via established communication channels

- bachelors degree or higher
- 2+ years of experience in scholarly publishing or academic partnerships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders

- Strong data analysis and visualization abilities
- Intermediate understanding of business development processes
