Senior Specialist, Global Markets & Partnerships

As a Senior Specialist in Global Markets & Partnerships at Wiley, your role is to contribute to the team's objectives by providing coordination, planning, and analytical support for business development activities. You will be a key player in driving the geodiversity of the portfolio through targeted business development activities within specific high-growth markets. Your impact in this role will be achieved through the following key responsibilities: - Enabling team communication by coordinating team meetings and internal reporting - Facilitating the creation of deliverables such as bids, reports, business cases, and presentations - Coordinating external events like workshops, webinars, and roundtables to drive stakeholder/partnership engagement - Collating holistic market reports by bringing together market research and insights into a comprehensive overview - Preparing and maintaining project documentation to provide project management support - Supporting internal stakeholder messaging via established communication channels To excel in this role, we are looking for a highly motivated individual with a can-do attitude and deep curiosity about the publishing industry. You should have a Bachelor's degree or higher, along with 2+ years of experience in scholarly publishing or academic partnerships. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical capabilities, project management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are essential qualifications for this position. Additionally, adaptability, flexibility, and cultural sensitivity are key attributes we seek in a candidate. Desirable qualifications include a degree in a subject with a strong analytical component, professional experience in a client-facing role, familiarity with Power Apps and AI tools, experience using CRM systems, basic financial analysis skills, and knowledge of market research methodologies. Additional language skills are considered an advantage.
