Job Description

This role is a key function within the Verizon Ecosystem Unit at HCL, focused on driving thought leadership concerning tech trends in the market that can impact the Go-To-Market strategies in all aspects of the HCL-Verizon relationship, including Sell to Sell and Sell Through. As part of this role, you will engage in consultative collaboration with various lines of Business within HCL, different Product units of Verizon, and HCL's Go-To-Market teams to ensure a holistic approach to HCL's engagement with Verizon. With over 15 years of work experience, you will be responsible for leading technical presales architectures and solutions for enterprise customers. You should be recognized as a thought leader in new telecom trends and possess the ability to drive consultative dialogues with Technical and Business CXOs. Previous experience as a Solution Architect/Presales professional focusing on Service Providers as a Channel play is essential. Exposure to Global System Integrators, a rich understanding of the Global Business landscape, Services play, Outsourcing markets, and partnership management are highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have a background in Enterprise Networks and Security, Multi-Cloud Networks, and experience in integrating with Telecom Service providers or Telecom Infrastructure providers. You should be adept at working in a Matrix Organization and have exposure to managing large and complex deals, including the ability to create customer-facing proposals and presentations. Strong oral and written communication skills are a must, with a Bachelor's degree required and an MBA considered a plus. Desired skills for this role include shaping the Verizon HCL Ecosystem Technical Charter in a consultative/advisory capacity, collaborating with HCL technology practice teams to define new technology offerings leveraging the Verizon portfolio, and managing relationships with Verizon Architecture/Product/Offering Teams to promote various HCL offerings on Verizon portfolios. Additionally, you will work closely with HCL and Verizon Sales and Technology teams to identify and qualify new technology solutions, address key customer technical objections, and develop strategies to overcome technical impediments to business transactions. Team management experience is a plus. In summary, this role requires a high-energy individual with a positive disposition, a self-starter mindset focused on customer needs, and the ability to quickly learn, multitask, and demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment, initiative, collaboration, and creativity. Moreover, you should have a strong affinity for understanding and working with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions within the Network Security technology space.,
