Your Team's Impact

The Gravity team works on the collection tool called Attic, a key product in the Data Platform that allows stream aligned teams to collect and publish data at FactSet without having to manage their own databases. The team will work with many internal teams and is responsible to do feature enhancements, bug fixes, infrastructure/architecture improvements, maintaining data efficiently.Location: HyderabadWork Arrangement: Hybrid Setup

What You'll Do

  • FactSet is seeking for a Python Developer to join our engineering team responsible for making our product more scalable and reliable. 
  • Deliver high quality, re-usable and maintainable code, perform Unit / Integration Testing of assigned tasks within the estimated timelines. 
  • Build robust infrastructure in AWS appropriate to respective component of product.
  • Proactive in providing technical solutions with effective communication & collaboration skills. 
  • Perform Code Reviews and ensure best practices are followed. 
  • Work in agile team environment and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth product delivery. 
  • Individual contribution on the product. 
  • Ensure high stability of product. 
  • Identify opportunities to align with the modernisation of the product line, making use of industry standard tools and practices.
  • Continuous Knowledge sharing internal & external of Team. 

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science .
  • 5-8 years of total experience.
  • Minimum 5 year of experience in Python development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong experience and proficiency with Python, Pandas. 
  • Experience with AWS components.
  • Experience with Github-based development processes .
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Organized, self-directed, and resourceful with the ability to appropriately prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
