Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Senior Software Engineer

with expertise in Markit EDM to join our dynamic team.This role involves leading development efforts, providing high-quality support to business processes, and managing cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of data integration, SQL, and platform support, as well as exceptional communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead business-as-usual initiatives and deliver reliable support to both the business and Technology teams
Manage a team of 8-10 members while serving as EDM Lead
Analyze and resolve complex technical problems with a structured approach
Track issues rigorously, ensuring timely incident and problem management
Maintain and support production and testing environments effectively
Facilitate engagement with clients, business users, and other technical teams
Deliver consistently high-quality results in assigned tasks
Drive collaboration across cross-functional teams to meet project goals
Communicate progress updates to management and project stakeholders swiftly

Requirements

Minimum of 5+ years of experience with Markit EDM and strong SQL skills
Background in working with EDM implementations across datasets including Market, Instrument, Party, Reference, Corporate Actions, and Historical Time-Series
Application support expertise, with proven first/second line problem resolution skills
Showcase of excellent communication skills at C1/C1+ proficiency level
Capability to coordinate with both technical teams and business users effectively
