Senior Software Engineer II

As a Senior Software Engineer I / II at Contentstack, you will have the opportunity to work across the stack, from committing code to running it in production, all while focusing on delivering the best possible experience for the user. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and testing features from inception to rollout, ensuring that the code you write is of high quality, scalable, testable, maintainable, and reliable. - Design, develop, and test features from inception to rollout - Ensure that the code is of high quality, scalable, testable, maintainable, and reliable - Independently own and drive new features from scratch - Work in an Agile environment and champion best practices and cross-functional skill development - Mentor and guide junior team members, cultivating talent and bringing out the best in your team - Provide feedback to others for continuous improvement To excel in this role, you should have: - Experience working with Golang on the backend and ReactJS on the frontend - Strong knowledge of creating scalable REST APIs - Experience with alternative protocols like GraphQL, GRPC, and Typed programming languages like TypeScript - Practice TDD (Test Driven Development) and write test automation - Work with databases such as MongoDB, Redis, and Relational databases - Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming and/or Functional Programming concepts - Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines - Past experience in tackling scaling issues - Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker - Experience with container orchestrators like Kubernetes, Nomad, Ansible Having 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role and being located in Pune (Hybrid) are the requirements for this position.
