QA Engineer (Selenium and Java)

Responsibilities Contentstack is looking for an Engineer II - QA. Here's what you'll be doing: Ownership of all assigned tasks. Write test cases and scenarios based on the features to test. Ability to detect the defects and identify the steps to reproduce them. Find and File defects in the defect tracking tool. Timely and accurate reporting of project status as required by the Project team. Escalate all issues in a timely fashion. Perform manual testing & script automation steps on the test cases written. Collaborate with people across roles to understand the domain and work towards building the right solution. Adopt an open mindset for learning new things and working in new roles. Continuously improve by working on and providing feedback. Requirements Knowledge of Software Development and Testing Life Cycles. Solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle. Experience in Manual and Automation testing. Hands-on experience working with Selenium. Working experience with the Playwright Framework using JavaScript. Experience with API automation using Postman and JavaScript scripting. Knowledge of and/or willingness to work within Scrum Methodology. An individual who thrives in a demanding environment that imposes new challenges frequently.
