This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Velotio Technologies. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Gen AI) in India.

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Generative AI, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI agents on AWS Cloud, delivering enterprise-grade, production-ready solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect scalable systems, integrate cutting-edge AI frameworks, and optimize performance for high-volume workloads. Your role will involve implementing innovative prompt engineering strategies, mentoring engineering teams, and presenting technical solutions to both technical and executive stakeholders. This position is ideal for a technically strong, innovative engineer who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and is passionate about building impactful AI-driven applications at scale.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will:
  • Design and implement end-to-end deployment strategies for Generative AI agents on AWS Cloud
  • Architect scalable, fault-tolerant AI systems capable of handling millions of requests
  • Integrate and optimize AI frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, and LlamaIndex for specific use cases
  • Develop prompt engineering techniques, fine-tuning strategies, and event-driven architectures for optimal AI performance
  • Build full-stack applications, REST APIs, and microservices architectures with security, scalability, and monitoring best practices
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, and set up automated CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments
  • Design and optimize database solutions, including vector databases, SQL, and NoSQL systems
  • Mentor teams, conduct training sessions, and present AI solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align AI solutions with business goals and ensure seamless project execution

Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and scalable application development
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and AI agent frameworks
  • Strong programming skills in Python and Node.js with production-level experience
  • Proficiency with REST API design, implementation, and best practices
  • Solid understanding of SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, and LlamaIndex
  • Experience with AWS services including SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, ECS, RDS, and CloudFormation
  • Knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure automation
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Experience mentoring development teams and guiding AI integration
  • Bonus: AWS Machine Learning Specialty certification, experience in Telco or Banking domains, advanced Terraform expertise, and enterprise security knowledge
