About Verazer

Verazer is building a SaaS + IoT platform to transform plantation and agri-enterprise management. Our platform will integrate factory, field, and labor data with analytics, IoT inputs, and real-time dashboards — helping estates improve crop yield, consistency, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership

  • Design scalable SaaS architecture (multi-tenant, RBAC, audit logs).
  • Make stack and infra decisions (Node.js/TypeScript, Postgres/Mongo, AWS/GCP).
  • Establish coding standards, review PRs, manage technical debt.

  • Hands-on Development

  • Build core backend modules (auth, data pipelines, APIs).
  • Contribute to frontend when needed (React/Next.js).
  • Implement DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, monitoring).

  • Security & Infra

  • Implement secure login, access control, data encryption.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure basics (IAM, VPC, S3, EC2).
  • Ensure backups, recovery, and system uptime.

  • Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Translate business workflows into technical specs with the founder.
  • Guide and mentor the current engineer and future juniors.
  • Work as a true founding team member, wearing multiple hats when needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–7 years

    of experience as a full-stack/backend engineer.
  • Proven experience building or scaling a

    SaaS product

    .
  • Strong in

    Node.js/TypeScript

    , PostgreSQL.
  • Cloud experience (AWS/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD).
  • Knowledge of

    RBAC, security best practices, audit trails

    .
  • Ability to mentor juniors and set technical direction.
  • Bonus: Experience with

    real-time systems, IoT data, or agri-tech

    .
