Job Summary:

Amenify is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Backend to join our core Engineering team and have a deep impact on the design, development and maintenance of our backend services and internal systems. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead backend engineer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products.

Responsibilities & duties

• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performant, maintainable code.
• Develop and support software including micro services, offline jobs, database integration, external integrations, and new functionality enhancements.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure the projects meet business objectives and timelines.
• Experience with Django (Python), Graphql, Postgres and GCP.
• Support timely testing and deployment of new products and features.
• Participate in code reviews, on-call and mentoring junior Engineers.

Qualifications & skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field), Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a proven record of designing and implementing systems at scale
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process across multiple time zones.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with an owner's mentality.
