Senior Software Developer - Python

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python.
• Architect, review, and implement 

  system designs

   for high-traffic distributed systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following best practices (OOP, SOLID).
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and reliability.
• Solve complex technical problems using strong 

  data structures & algorithms

   knowledge.
• Build and deploy infrastructure on 

  AWS

  .
• Work with 

  Terraform

   to create, manage, and version cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Ensure high-quality documentation and adherence to engineering standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong understanding of 

  OOP

  , software engineering best practices, and design patterns.
• Solid expertise in 

  DSA (Data Structures & Algorithms)

  .
• Strong experience in 

  System Design

   for scalable distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with 

  AWS services

   (compute, storage, networking, serverless).
• Experience working with 

  Terraform

   for infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Proficiency with Python frameworks (e.g., Django, FastAPI, Flask) optional but preferred.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
