Senior Software Developer ( Nest.Js + Laravel )

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with strong backend expertise in NestJS and Laravel , who also has hands-on experience with webhooks , queue systems , and AWS services . You’ll help us build scalable APIs, integrate third-party services, and manage cloud infrastructure efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Architect and develop scalable backend applications using NestJS (TypeScript) and Laravel (PHP) . Build, manage, and secure RESTful APIs , webhooks , and microservices . Design and implement asynchronous job processing using queues (e.g., Redis , SQS , RabbitMQ ). Handle third-party webhook integrations (e.g., Stripe, Twilio, Slack, etc.). Work with AWS services such as EC2 , S3 , RDS , CloudWatch , and Lambda . Ensure application security, performance optimization, and robust error handling. Collaborate with frontend teams, DevOps, and Product Managers. Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote coding best practices. Write unit, integration, and functional tests. Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience in full-stack/backend development. Expertise in NestJS (Node.js + TypeScript) and Laravel (PHP). Solid understanding of webhook architecture and secure implementation. Proficient in building queue-based systems using Laravel Queues , Redis , or SQS . Experience deploying and maintaining services on AWS (IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, etc.). Strong in MySQL/PostgreSQL , Git , REST APIs , and Docker . Understanding of software architecture , SOLID principles , and design patterns . Nice to Have: Experience with GraphQL . Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.). Exposure to frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue). Experience with monitoring/logging tools ( CloudWatch , Datadog , Sentry ). Previous work with multi-tenant or SaaS applications.
