Project Description:
Development of new solutions based on W360 Content & Portals roadmap OR requests received from Business teams
Responsibilities:
• Solution development: Design, develop, and implement SharePointsolutions, including customizations, web parts, workflows, and integrations, using SharePoint Online, and related technologies.• Technical expertise: Demonstrate deep knowledge and expertise inSharePoint development, including SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, modern Web technologies like React, and other relevant technologies.• Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and other team members to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure alignment between technical solutions and business goals.• Code reviews and quality assurance: Conduct code reviews, ensureadherence to coding standards, and implement quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality SharePoint solutions.• Troubleshooting and issue resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks, ensuring the stability and optimal performance of SharePoint solutions.• Technical documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, code documentation, and deployment guides, to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing within the team.• Stay updated with industry trends: Continuously stay updated with the latest SharePoint and related technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.• Mentorship and knowledge sharing: Provide guidance, support, andmentorship to junior developers, fostering their growth and development within the team.
Mandatory Skills Description:
• Proven experience as a Senior Developer, preferably in SharePoint development and solutions.• Strong technical expertise in SharePoint development, including SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, modern Web technologies like React, and related technologies.• Expertise in components like Front door, Azure Function, App or WebServices, SQL Databases, Power Platform and PowerBI as ways to extendSharePoint capabilities to deliver on business requirements• Experience with code quality tools like SonarQube• Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD tools• Experience in designing and developing custom SharePoint solutions,including web parts, workflows, customizations, and integrations.• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address technical challenges and propose innovative solutions.• Strong understanding of software development best practices, codingstandards, and version control systems.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools, such as Azure DevOps, is a plus.
