Job Description

As a Senior Technical Consultant in this role, you will be responsible for utilizing your 5+ years of relevant experience, particularly with ServiceNow - ITOM Service Mapping skills. Your primary focus will involve mapping data from various systems into ServiceNow, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer of information, and facilitating integrations with other tools and services. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and deploying service maps, collaborating with discovery patterns, and guaranteeing the accurate representation of IT services and their underlying infrastructure. A strong understanding of the CMDB, its structure, and its relationship to ITOM will be essential. You will also be developing and implementing data mapping solutions to enable the seamless movement and integration of data between ServiceNow and external systems. In this role, you will work closely with development and integration teams to ensure a smooth data flow between ServiceNow and other applications. Your tasks will involve configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules and workflows as per specific business requirements, supporting configuration changes related to mapping and data transformation needs, and conducting unit and integration testing to validate the accuracy of data flows. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive documentation of data mappings, workflows, and integrations, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for data mapping and integration issues, and collaborating with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to comprehend data requirements and business processes effectively. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree along with at least 7 years of experience in ServiceNow ITOM Discovery & Service Mapping and integrating data. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM (CMDB, Service Mapping) and proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript) for mapping and transforming data are crucial. You should also possess knowledge of data modeling and mapping techniques in ServiceNow, familiarity with SQL and querying relational databases, and experience with integration protocols such as REST, SOAP, FTP, and SFTP. Moreover, you are expected to hold relevant certifications including ServiceNow Certified ITOM Discovery & Service Mapping, ServiceNow Certified - Application Developer, and ITIL v3 certification. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, effective presentation development and customer presentation skills, successful teamwork experience, and demonstrated leadership abilities will be valuable assets in this role.,
