Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

ServiceNow Technical Architect

to lead the

design, development, and implementation

of ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in

ServiceNow platform architecture, ITSM development, service portal customization, chatbot integration, and workflow automation

. This role requires

technical leadership, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in ServiceNow customization and integrations

to optimize service delivery and business processes.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead

    the architecture, design, and implementation of

    ServiceNow solutions

    to align with business objectives and industry best practices.

  • Serve as the

    primary technical advisor and subject matter expert

    , ensuring the

    scalability, reliability, and performance

    of the platform.

  • Work closely with

    stakeholders

    to understand business requirements and design

    innovative ServiceNow workflows, modules, and integrations

    .

  • Develop and customize

    ServiceNow applications, scripting, APIs, and web services

    to enhance platform functionality.

  • Build and maintain

    ServiceNow portals, service catalogs, and virtual agents

    to improve

    user experience and automation

    .

  • Configure and integrate

    chatbots and AI-powered solutions

    to streamline service management processes.

  • Perform

    performance tuning and optimization

    to ensure a

    stable and high-performing

    ServiceNow environment.

  • Provide

    technical leadership and mentorship

    , guiding developers on

    best practices, coding standards, and platform optimization techniques

    .

  • Collaborate with

    cross-functional teams

    to define

    technical standards, governance policies, and development methodologies

    .

  • Stay updated with

    emerging ServiceNow trends and technologies

    , recommending enhancements to maximize platform efficiency.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor s degree

    in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience

    in ServiceNow development, with a strong background in

    technical architecture and solution design

    .

  • Extensive expertise in

    ITSM development, service portal development, chatbot, and virtual agent development

    within ServiceNow.

  • Proficiency in

    JavaScript, Glide, Jelly

    , and other scripting languages for ServiceNow customization.

  • Experience integrating

    ServiceNow with third-party systems

    via

    APIs, web services, and RESTful interfaces

    .

  • Strong knowledge of

    ServiceNow performance tuning, stability optimization, and scalability best practices

    .

  • Excellent

    problem-solving skills

    with the ability to analyze

    complex technical issues

    and develop

    innovative solutions

    .

  • Strong

    communication and interpersonal skills

    , capable of leading

    technical discussions

    and engaging with

    stakeholders

    at all levels.

  • Preferred Certifications:



    • Certified Application Developer (CAD)

    • Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)

    • Certified System Administrator (CSA)



  • Proven experience in

    technical leadership and mentorship

    , with a track record of

    successfully leading ServiceNow development teams

    .
