Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Oversight & Maintenance

Full charge of the entire Normet fleet.
Ensure proper maintenance and safe operational practices for both UG and Surface units.

Team Safety & Coordination

Guarantee the safety of every individual in the Workshop and UG working under his supervision.
Conduct shift start Toolbox Talks (TBT).
Allocate manpower and monitor shift availability and machine status.

Breakdown Management

Ensure timely attendance to all equipment breakdowns.
Oversee resolution of held-up machines and ensure their quick release back into operation.

Reporting & Communication

Share hourly updates and essential reports via WhatsApp (e.g., B/D Intimation, resolution time, RBO & PC allocation).
Submit end-of-shift reports including DSR, floor reports, and ensure job compliance per JSA and permits.

Material & Logistics Coordination

Arrange all parts, oil, consumables, tools, and tackle required for breakdowns or scheduled maintenance.

Compliance & Standards

Ensure 100% adherence to SOPs/SMPs, LOTO procedures, work permits, and fire safety protocols.
Maintain and enforce 5S safety standards across all operations.

Continuous Improvement

Actively implement improvement programs to enhance safety and maintenance efficiency.
