Role & responsibilities

The Senior SEO specialist is given tasks related to all aspects of internet marketing and search engine optimization. The SEO specialist performs competitive analysis, keyword research, create reports, find link opportunities and give advice to companies on how to improve their current marketing strategy. Duties:

• Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve

  keyword rankings

  and drive targeted organic traffic.
• Conduct

  keyword research and competitive analysis

  to identify ranking opportunities.
• Optimize and manage

  Google Business Profile (GMB/GBP)

  listings to improve

  local map pack visibility

  and rankings.
• Explore and implement strategies to

  enhance business visibility on AI-driven platforms

  (e.g., ChatGPT, Bing AI, voice assistants).
• Perform regular

  technical SEO audits

  and oversee fixes for crawl errors, site speed, mobile usability, schema markup, and indexation issues.
• Build and manage

  link-building and citation strategies

  to improve authority and local rankings.
• Collaborate with content and development teams to implement SEO best practices on websites and landing pages.
• Track, analyze, and report on

  keyword rankings, GBP performance, and AI visibility

  using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, BrightLocal, or equivalent.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years of proven

  SEO and local SEO

  experience (preferably with service-based businesses)
• Strong expertise in

  Google Business Profile optimization

  and

  local SEO ranking factors

  .
• Hands-on experience improving

  keyword rankings

  and visibility in competitive niches.
• Familiarity with

  AI platform optimization and emerging search technologies

  (ChatGPT, Bing AI, voice search).
• Proficiency with SEO tools: Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, BrightLocal, Moz.
• Strong communication and reporting skills to clearly present SEO progress and ranking improvements.
