Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SEO Specialist to lead and execute advanced SEO strategies for our direct-to-consumer (D2C) E-commerce brand. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical abilities, a deep understanding of search engine behavior, hands-on experience with AI/LLM-driven optimization, and a proven track record of driving organic growth, revenue, and SERP dominance.

Key Responsibilities :

1. On-Page SEO :

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research using Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and GSC.

  • Optimize category, product, and blog pages for higher SERP visibility.

  • Improve meta tags, headings, schema markup, URL structuring, and internal linking.

  • Ensure content optimization aligned with E-E-A-T, AI/LLM guidelines, and search intent.

2. Off-Page SEO :

  • Create and execute link-building strategies: guest posts, PR mentions, high-authority backlinks.

  • Manage brand visibility through content placements, outreach, partnerships, and citations.

  • Track and improve domain authority and backlink quality.

3. Technical SEO :

  • Identify and fix crawlability, indexation, core web vitals, site architecture, canonicalization, and JS-render issues.

  • Work with development teams to implement HTML, CSS, and JS-related SEO improvements.

  • Handle sitemap & robots optimization, redirections, and structured data.

4. Analytics & Reporting :

  • Expert-level handling of GA4, GTM, MS Clarity, and Google Search Console.

  • Track KPIs: clicks, impressions, conversions, revenue, keyword movement, user behavior.

  • Prepare weekly/monthly SEO performance reports.

  • Analyze competitor websites and share insights for category/page improvements.

5. AI & LLM-Based Optimization :

  • Optimize content for AI Overviews, People Also Ask, and featured snippets.

  • Research and implement AI/LLM-driven keyword clusters, topical maps, and semantic optimization.

6. Local SEO & Merchant Center :

  • Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles (GMB) for all store locations.

  • Monitor rankings, reviews, NAP consistency, and local visibility.

  • Oversee Google Merchant Center listings, product feeds, and issue resolution.

7. E-commerce & D2C SEO :

  • Optimize product/category experience to improve organic conversions and revenue.

  • Collaborate with Performance Marketing, UX, Product & Content teams for growth-driven strategies.

  • Identify gaps and opportunities in category, service, and product funnels.

Skills & Qualifications :

  • Strong expertise in On-Page & Off-Page SEO

  • Advanced experience with GA4, GTM, Clarity, GSC

  • Analytical problem-solving mindset

  • D2C and E-commerce SEO expertise

  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Keyword Planner, Rank Trackers)

  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS & JavaScript

  • Deep understanding of AI-based search, LLM optimization, and topical authority building

Good to Have :

  • Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, React/Next.js websites

  • Knowledge of CRO, UX, content mapping, and growth strategy

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with tech, design, and marketing teams
