Job description Executing a sales strategy to meet or exceed sales targets Identifying and developing new business opportunities through market research and cold calling Developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers, and monitoring customer satisfaction. Scheduling meetings with clients to discuss software need and advising them on technical matters, and highlighting product features. Developing and delivering presentations to potential customers Negotiating pricing and terms of sale, and service agreements Managing the complete sales process from lead generation to closing the sale Preparing and submitting sales reports Providing feedback to product development teams and marketing from prospects Researching and analyzing customer needs and market trends Attending industry events and conferences Developing and maintaining a customer database Required skills and qualifications. Engineering degree (or equivalent) or at least 3 to 9 years of relevant work experience Two or more years of experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding lead targets Strong communication skills via phone and email Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills. Experience as a sales development representative, with a track record of achieving sales quotas. Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM software.
