About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager/Executive with 1-3 years of industry experience in interior design industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, identifying key business opportunities, and contributing to the growth of the company, while leveraging their expertise in interior design.


  • Design & Sales Integration- Seamlessly merge interior design expertise with sales techniques to create captivating interior design solutions that meet client's requirements.
  • Client Engagement- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their design needs are met throughout the sales process. Listen attentively to their design aspirations and requirements, offering expert guidance on design choices while showcasing how your design recommendations align with our products and services.
  • Lead Generation- Proactively identify new business opportunities by conducting market research, attending industry events, and networking within the thriving interior design community. Generate leads and establish relationships with potential clients interested in our interior design services.
  • Sales Strategy- Collaborate with services and marketing team to develop strategies and goals for short term and long-term sales funnel, contributing to revenue growth and the overall success of the company in the ever-evolving interior design market.
  • Utilize Sales Tools- Be open minded and results driven with an attitude to devise newer strategies to tap into varied sales channels – offline and online.


Requirements

  • Qualifications- Graduate/Postgraduate in Design or Architecture industry preferred but not mandatory.
  • Sales Experience (Interior Design)- 1-3 years of successful sales experience within the interior design industry, with a proven track record of initiating and closing significant business contracts.
  • Market Research- Ability to conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, enabling data-driven decision-making in sales and design strategies.
  • Communication- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate design concepts and sales proposals to clients clearly and persuasively.
  • Detail-Oriented- Strong attention to detail to ensure the accurate implementation of design concepts.
