Senior ROR Engineer(Ruby On Rails)

This role is for a Senior ROR Engineer(Ruby On Rails). We want you to be innovative and results-driven. We put a lot of emphasis on Teamwork and collaboration. Your role involves converting complex designs in to enterprise application, creating solutions for complex real time scenarios and writing performance oriented modular code.

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of applications
• Help maintain code quality, organization and reusability
• You will also maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
• You will collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to develop and launch new features.

• Extensive experience with Ruby on Rails, along with other common libraries such as RSpec, Sidekiq etc.
• Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby.
• Experience in one or more relational database (PostgreSQL, MySQL, .. etc).
• Experience in HTML, CSS pre-processor (SASS or LESS) and client-side scripting libraries and framework (Javascript, Jquery, AngularJS, Reactjs etc).
• Experience with RESTful API’s and back-end services
• Experience in developing highly interactive applications
• Proficient understanding of Git
• Experience of managing application environment in Heroku
• Excellent Oral and written communication skills
• Aptitude for teamwork and ability to mentor juniors.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-moving organisation and help the organisation achieve objectives.
