Job Description

Genrobotics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior Robotic Software Engineer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software for our advanced robotic systems. This role requires a deep understanding of robotics, software architecture, and control systems,as well as a passion for solving complex, real-world problems. The successful candidate will play a key role in bringing our next generation of robotic solutions to life.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and implement software for robotic systems, including motion control, perception, and navigation.
  • Develop and maintain the Robot Operating System (ROS) and ROS 2 framework for various robotic platforms.
  • Create and optimize algorithms for real-time control, path planning, and sensor data processing.
  • Integrate hardware components, such as sensors, actuators, and robotic arms, with software systems.
  • Conduct testing and debugging of robotic software to ensure reliability,performance, and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and researchers, to define and achieve project goals.
  • Document software designs, code, and test procedures.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in robotics and software engineering

Skills Required

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python.
  • Extensive experience with the Robot Operating System (ROS) or ROS 2.
  • Strong understanding of robotics concepts, including kinematics, dynamics, and control systems.
  • Experience with perception libraries such as OpenCV and Point Cloud Library (PCL).
  • Experience in SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) and navigation algorithms.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g.,TensorFlow, PyTorch) applied to robotics.
  • Familiarity with robotic simulation tools (e.g., Gazebo, V-REP).
  • Experience with industrial robotic arms and manipulators.
  • Knowledge of web technologies for robotic interfaces.

Experience : Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in robotics software development

Qualification : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science,Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Location : Hyderabad
