The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) was established as the Institute of Armament Studies in 1952. In 1967, it was renamed the Institute of Armament Technology (IAT) and moved to its current location in Girinagar, Pune. The institute's scope has expanded significantly over the years, and it acquired the status of a Deemed University in 2000. It was renamed DIAT in 2006 and is recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and Pune University.

Role Description

This is an on-site (Pune & Bangalore) temporary role for a Senior Research Fellow at Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) located in Pune. The Senior Research Fellow will be responsible for conducting extensive research, analyzing data, and contributing design, programming and development of the project based on Data Analytics, AI&ML and Deep Learning. This role demands close collaboration with other researchers and departments, preparation of research reports, presentations, and publications.

Qualifications

• Strong background in research methodologies and data analysis
• Proven skills in technical writing, report preparation, and publishing research findings
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• {B.E/B.Tech/MSc with NET/GATE + 2 Years Exp} or {M.E./ MTech + 2 Years Exp}
• Experience in defense or related technical research is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
