Job Description

The Senior Relocation Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of relocation projects for our clients. This role requires a blend of project management skills, client communication, and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Administration and Reporting

  • Review, revise, reconcile, and verify invoices within specified timeframes
  • Approve team members' timesheet entries for proper project charging
  • Follow up on delinquent invoice payments, aiming for zero 60+ day accounts receivables
  • Prepare and update project status reports, process purchase orders, and maintain financial files
  • Ensure completion of all internal and client project administrative close-out activities

Move/Project Management

  • Manage relocation activities, incorporating best practices
  • Ensure compliance with documented processes and client/JLL policies
  • Maintain and update operations manual
  • Serve as single point of contact for relocation projects
  • Facilitate project meetings and document responsibilities
  • Develop and implement relocation project plans and budgets
  • Manage vendor/contractor selection and procurement processes
  • Coordinate with various service providers on schedule, budget, and scope
  • Provide on-site support during moves and resolve post-move issues.

Client Communication and Management

  • Develop and implement detailed client communication plans
  • Exhibit strong verbal communication skills at all organizational levels
  • Meet or exceed client expectations while staying within project parameters
  • Identify and resolve critical client issues
  • Adapt to client culture and supervise team in following the same

People Management and Leadership

  • Provide career guidance and development for team members
  • Contribute to skill development and motivate team members
  • Participate in hiring, orientation, and training processes

Business Development

  • Enhance team revenues through existing and new client relationships
  • Function as a subject matter expert for specific products or services
  • Participate in RFP/RFQ processes and proposal development

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in CAD/CAFM technology with move management module
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Project skills
  • Experience managing relocations of over 1000 employees
  • Background in project management, construction management, or architecture (preferred)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed
  • 4-6 years of facility, project, or construction-related experience in Corporate Real Estate
  • Minimum 2 years as Relocation Project Manager or related experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in related field (e.g., Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or Business Administration)

Additional Information: This position may require occasional travel and flexible work hours to meet project demands.
