POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Senior Quality Development Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and QA tools that improve reliability, performance, and observability across the SearchAI ecosystem. You will work alongside engineers and architects to ensure quality by design, while also contributing to the product’s backend development and customer delivery efforts.

LOCATION: Hyderabad (Work from Office)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 
  Develop and maintain automated test suites and tools for SearchAI services and APIs.
• Implement frameworks to validate RAG accuracy, response relevance, and retrieval consistency.
• Collaborate with developers and solution architects to define test strategies for ingestion, enrichment, and LLM stages.
• Contribute to benchmarking, load testing, and quality dashboards for system observability.
• Participate in customer use case validations, building test harnesses for connector and search scenarios.
• Support the QA toolchain modernisation, ensuring test scalability and reusability.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 
  4+ years in software development or QA automation.
• Strong skills in Python, Node.js, and API-level automation.
• Familiarity with RAG/LLM pipelines, vector databases, and search frameworks.
• Understanding of CI/CD workflows, test data management, and Git-based automation triggers.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills with a focus on test coverage and reproducibility.
• Experience in building internal QA utilities or validation tools.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, MongoDB, and Docker.
• Understanding of AI model evaluation, including accuracy and recall testing.
• Familiarity with JMeter, Playwright, or PyTest.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor’s in engineering or Master’s in computer applications
