Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to provide support to a global technology company during a high-demand business phase. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing software quality assurance tasks across on-premise and cloud platforms. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage, tracking defects, and assisting with releases. This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extensions, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week onsite at the client's office in Pune, India, specifically located in Panchshil Business Park, Balewadi. Responsibilities: - Conduct testing on both cloud and on-premises environments, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. - Develop, execute, and manage test cases focusing on functionality, reliability, and performance. - Collaborate closely with engineering and QA teams to guarantee adequate test coverage and resolve defects efficiently. Requirements: - Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant software QA experience with a strong emphasis on testing abilities. - Proficiency in Golang and Python is necessary. - Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems. - Hands-on experience in testing software on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. - Thorough understanding of SQA methodologies and defect lifecycle. - Excellent communication and documentation skills are essential. - Previous exposure to NetBackup is advantageous. - A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field would be a bonus.
