Job description
The Quality Assurance Senior Engineer is responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for Akamai Application with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results, conducts and plays an active role in defect triage calls. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.
As a member of the QA team, he/she will design functional, integration and regression test cases, execute manual test cases and perform analysis of test results for application.
A successful candidate will be adaptive to change and able to quickly come up to speed in a fast paced technology environment.
Qualification:
B.Tech or MCA qualified with overall 3-4 years of Experience in QA. At least 2 years experience in Oracle fusion HCM or Oracle Time and Labour .
Mandatory Skills
Strong understanding of SDLC, test life cycle and test methodologies, test case design and execution. Must have HR experience in AT LEAST two of these areas: Oracle HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Time and Labor modules (OTL). Ability to work with BA/SME to design test criteria and develop test cases. Serve as point of contact for development and operations staff for QA issues. Good SQL knowledge for developing and analyzing complex queries. (Oracle is preferred) Should have good understanding and knowledge about Test Management Tools. (JIRA, OTM, Quality Centreetc.) Strong analytical and communication skills to interact with business users and technical teams. Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.

Automation testing (Core JAVA, Selenium or any industry standard programming knowledge or automation tool) Responsibilities: Develop valid, optimized manual test cases for a web based Application. Work with BA/SME to understand Akamaized functionality of Fusion HCM Application and build valid test scenarios. Create and maintain comprehensive test data to support execution of test cases Execute test cases in scheduled test cycles and analyze the results. Identify and investigate issues found during testing. Document, maintain and communicate issues found during test execution through defect tracking tools. Should prepare detailed test reports Ex: Test execution, Defects, requirements and traceability. Should be working with BA/developers to make defects resolved and should be able to escalate if needed. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
