Quality Site Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1.            Site Visit

               -              Daily site visits of various running & completed sites to ensure the execution as per approved GA drawings & as per REC technical specification.

2.            Raising of SOR

                -              Raising of SOR (Site Observation Report) for any discrepancy found in work.

               -              Escalating the SOR report to take corrective action.

3.            Closing of SOR

               -              To help execution team in closing of SOR. (Internal as well as Clients SOR)

               -              Verification of Closing of SOR

               -              Update the closing SOR in system.

4.            Site Failure Analysis

-

               -              Prepare a preliminary report.

               -              To establish the cause of failure.

               -              To eradicate the root cause of failure.

5.            Checking of material during inward at site store

-

6.            Material NCR / CRM (Leap Ahead)

               -              Entry of non-quality material in CRM software.

-              Prepare material NCR.

7.            Site store visit during vendor’s visit to site store

-              Check and prepare MOM for any satisfactory rectification/replacement done at site store by vendor.

-              Doing joint inspection of Transformers along with vendor at site store before dispatch for rectification.

8.            Material handling at store & site

-              To provide training to stores and contractors for material handling.

-              Periodic Site Store Audit

9.            Training

-              To provide training to Sub-contractors and engineers.

10.         Special Task

-

-              To ensure to check the grouting/ concerting as & when required.

-              JMC verification during processing of contractor’s retention bills as & when required.
