Job Description

Senior Manual QA Engineer

🔍

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze business requirements, technical specifications, and UI/UX designs to create effective

    test plans and test cases

  • Perform

    Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Sanity, and End-to-End testing

  • Execute test cases, log and track defects, and collaborate closely with developers for resolution
  • Prepare and maintain QA documentation including

    Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Summary Reports, and RTM

  • Perform

    API testing using Postman

    (basic to intermediate)
  • Review test cases created by team members and ensure strong test coverage
  • Actively participate in

    Agile ceremonies

    – sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices
  • Provide regular status updates and ensure timely delivery of testing milestones
  • Work closely with

    Product, Development, and Business teams

    to understand quality expectations

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

  • 7–10 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing

  • Strong understanding of

    SDLC, STLC, Agile & Scrum

  • Proven experience in designing and executing comprehensive test scenarios
  • Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools like

    JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps, Mantis

    , etc.
  • Experience with test management tools such as

    TestRail, Zephyr, or QTest

  • Working knowledge of

    SQL

    for backend/database testing (basic to intermediate)
  • Basic to intermediate experience in

    API testing (Postman)

  • Experience in

    mobile application testing (Android/iOS)

    is a plus
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
