Senior QA Engineer (Individual Contributor)

Responsibilities

• Perform 

  manual testing

   of web and mobile applications across multiple platforms and devices.
• Prepare and execute 

  test plans, test cases, and test scenarios

   with clear documentation.
• Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business teams to ensure 

  requirement coverage

  .
• Conduct 

  functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing

  .
• Apply 

  AI-assisted QA tools

   for:
• Test case generation
• Defect analysis and reporting
• Documentation automation
• Productivity improvements
• Continuously adapt to new QA processes, tools, and AI-driven workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in 

  manual testing

   (web + mobile).
• Strong knowledge of 

  SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle

  .
• Proven ability to write 

  clear and comprehensive test cases/reports

  .
• Strong analytical skills to identify requirement gaps.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with 

  AI tools in QA

   (Copilot, ChatGPT, Testim AI, etc.) is a 

  plus

  .
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and domains.

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Experience in 

  Fintech/BFSI domain

  .
• Understanding of 

  Loan Origination Systems (LOS)

   or lending workflows.

Success Metrics

• Accuracy and completeness of manual test coverage.
• Reduction in defect leakage to production.
• Effective usage of AI tools to 

  accelerate test design and documentation

  .
• Contribution to QA process improvements and efficiency gains.
