Role description

Job Summary:

Mobile & API Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable mobile automation frameworks for Android and iOS platforms.

Write, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Appium (Java/Python).

Create, maintain, and execute API automation test scripts using RestAssured, Postman/Newman, or Karate.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).

Collaborate closely with QA, Development, and Product teams to ensure complete test coverage and timely delivery.

Perform UI, functional, regression, and smoke testing for new app features and bug fixes.

Analyse automation test failures, perform root cause analysis, and log detailed defects in JIRA or similar tools.

Continuously enhance automation frameworks to improve coverage, stability, and execution efficiency.

Experience in creating test plans, automation strategies, and coverage reports.

Experience with Cloud Device Farms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, AWS Device Farm).
