About the Role

Utsaha Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer (Lead Role) to join our growing remote team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Python, FastAPI, Microservices, and database management, along with leadership experience in guiding and mentoring teams. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems while integrating modern technologies, including AI and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable, efficient, and maintainable Python-based applications.

• Translate complex business requirements into high-quality technical solutions.

• Architect and develop RESTful APIs using FastAPI or Flask frameworks.

• Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and cloud environments.

• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (frontend, QA, product, and AI teams).

• Integrate AI/ML tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance automation and analytics.

• Mentor and guide junior developers; conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards.

• Maintain existing production applications and improve system reliability.

• Participate in design discussions, sprint planning, and project delivery management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python and its standard libraries.

• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django frameworks.

• Experience in Microservices Architecture and API Development.

• Proficient with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with unit testing, version control (Git), and code quality practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred (Good-to-Have) Skills

• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and DevOps practices.

• Familiarity with tools in our stack: PostgreSQL, FastAPI, React, Docker, Redis, MongoDB.

• Experience integrating AI/ML or Generative AI solutions.

• Exposure to data-intensive or regulated industries.
