Job Description

Required Skills:Expert in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework (such as Django, Flask, etc depending on your technology stack)Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) librariesAble to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one systemUnderstanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architectureGood understanding of server-side templating languages (such as Jinja 2, Mako, etc depending on your technology stack)Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3Understanding of accessibility and security complianceKnowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environmentsUnderstanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable applicationFamiliarity with event-driven programming in PythonUnderstanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platformAble to create database schemas that represent and support business processesDesign, develop, and maintain Microservices using Python to ensure high performance and scalabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement Microservices architecture best practicesDesign, implement, and maintain systems that utilize queueing services for asynchronous communicationIntegrate and configure queueing services like RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka within the application architectureStrong unit test and debugging skillsProficient understanding of code versioning toolsWork collaboratively with the design team to understand end-user requirements to provide technical solutions and for the implementation of new software featuresKnowledge of application deployment process and server setup Responsibilities:Develop reusable, testable, and efficient codeImplement moderately complex applications and features following the underlying architectural decisionsCollaborate with team members to follow established development guidelinesIntegrate and manage data storage solutions with a focus on executionDesign and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
