Senior Purchase Executive [Pharma]

Own end-to-end purchasing for products we market in India. Place POs on our manufacturing partners, follow up on production/dispatch, and ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) deliveries at the right cost and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Vendor & PO Management: Raise RFQs, compare quotes, finalize rates/MOQs/lead times, issue Purchase Orders, and track until GRN.

• 
  Follow-ups: Daily coordination with manufacturers for artwork approval, batch planning, packing, dispatch dates, and shipment documents.

• 
  Materials & Docs: Ensure COA, invoice/HSN/GST, e-invoice/e-way (as applicable), batch/expiry, labels/MRP compliance before dispatch.

• 
  Inventory Control: Maintain reorder levels/safety stock, monitor ageing/near-expiry, and prevent stock-outs across divisions.

• 
  Cost & Claims: Negotiate rates and freight; handle shortages, damages, quality claims, and debit notes with timely closure.

• 
  Data & ERP: Update ERP/Excel trackers (PO vs. received, OTIF, lead time, price history); publish weekly MIS to management.

• 
  Supplier Development: Onboard alternate vendors; maintain rate contracts and performance scorecards.

• 
  Cross-Functional: Work with Sales/Warehouse/Accounts/QA for priorities, GRN, payments, and quality documentation.

Requirements

• 
  Experience: 3–5 years in pharma purchasing/supply chain (preferably third-party/contract manufacturing).

• 
  Education: Graduate; B.Pharm/BBA/MBA (Supply Chain) is a plus.

• 
  Skills: Strong negotiation, Excel (Pivot, XLOOKUP/SUMIFS), ERP familiarity, GST basics, documentation rigor, clear English/Hindi communication.
