Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role, based in Chennai, with some flexibility for remote work, for a Junior Protection Engineer in the CRP (Control and Relay Panels) division. The Junior Protection Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the configuration, installation, testing, and commissioning of control and relay panels. This includes preparing technical documentation, conducting site visits for installations, and troubleshooting protection system operations. The role will also involve collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Proficiency in power system protection, control systems, and relay coordinationMinimum 6-month to 1 Year of Experience in configuration and testing of control and relay panels (CRP) and numerical relaysProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and circuit schematicsGoodanalytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilitiesExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams and clientsWillingness to travel for site visits and support installation and commissioning activitiesBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldPriorexperience in the energy sector or power systems is a plus
